Casa Valdottavo is a self catering accommodation nestled in the hills 14 Km north of the medieval walled city of Lucca, in Tuscany.  Only a one hour drive from G. Galilee Airport in Pisa, and a one and one-half hours drive to Florence, this house comfortably sleeps six people, and offers all the modern conveniences for an enjoyable and relaxed stay in the beautiful countryside of Tuscany.

Sleeping arrangements consist of a spacious master bedroom with a double bed and a furnished balcony, a second bedroom with a set of bunk beds, which sleeps two, and a third bedroom which has two twin beds.
A large full bath with shower is centrally located in the house, and a half bath is located on the ground floor, just off the living area.  A washing machine is located on the ground floor and there is a clothesline on site. The kitchen is well equipped, with a gas stovetop, granite countertops, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and toaster.  There is a dining table located in the kitchen, as well as a large table in the dining area which can accommodate six or seven people.

The living room offers television and a wood-burning fireplace. There is an outdoor dining area featuring a barbecue grill, and a covered dining table, as well as an authentic wood burning oven for some memorable meals in the Italian countryside.

Your hosts Michael and Rosanna SanGregorio are friendly and welcoming, and Michael is fluent in English.  The house is located just outside the charming village of Valdottavo, which has several small markets, two taverns, a pizzeria, a pharmacy, a post office, and a hardware store.  Several fabulous restaurants are located within fifteen  minutes drive of the house. There is an internet point approximately 5 Km from the house, and Casa Valdottavo is located 10 Km south of the medieval village of Borgo a Mozzano, where the famous Devil’s Bridge is located on the Serchio River.

The spa town of Bagni di Lucca is a fifteen minute drive, where you can enjoy thermal mineral waters, a natural sauna located in a grotto, and European spa treatments.  Further north is the ski resort of Abetone, and to the west lies the Mediterranean coast, offering miles of lovely white sand beaches.  Casa Valdottavo is centrally located for any variety of day tours, and just far enough off the beaten path to offer the visitor a genuine experience of Tuscany

Low Season, 550 Euros per week: March 05 through April 30, October 01 through December 17
Mid Season, 550 Euros per week: May 01 through July 02, September 03 through October 01
High Season, 650 Euros per week: July 03 through September 02
Rates include all taxes.
